Susan Williams

Susan Ostrowski Williams

On September 19, 2023, in Meridian, Mississippi, surrounded by her beloved children, Susan O. Williams, left her earthly home and entered her heavenly home for an eternity. She was 76 years old.

Susan was born on November 27, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Chester Ostrowski and Millie (Tuma) Ostrowski. She graduated from Amory High School. With her sweet, loving, fun personality, she made many friends at Williams Country Express Grocery, a convenience store in Meridian, Mississippi that she owned and managed for many years. She made many friends through the years and was a vital part of her community.

A devoted Catholic, Susan was blessed by God with a great family. She had two children, daughter, Shannon Williams and son, Brad Williams and she loved them dearly. While she enjoyed listening to country music and watching television during her downtime, she received the most joy from her family. She considered her children her very best friends and she cherished and adored her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

The love and memories she gave her family through the years will be cherished forever. Her family is at peace, knowing that she has begun her new life in Heaven.

Leaving behind to cherish her memory is her daughter Shannon Willams, Meridian; her son, Brad Wiliams, Meridian; her grandchildren, Chet Williams and Anna Claire Williams; her great-grandchildren, Mattox Williams and Anna Faye Williams; nephews, Stanley Ostrowski, Russell Ostrowski; niece, Ginger Ostrowski; sister-in-law, Margaret Drake; and a special friend, Betty Sue Minga.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Millie Ostrowski and her brother Gordon “Big O” Ostrowski.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Please refer back to the website for updates.
