Shelia Renee Leach, born on July 20, 1970, in the charming town of Aberdeen, Mississippi, departed this world on October 27, 2025, in Smithville, Mississippi. Her life, while all too brief, was a radiant tapestry woven with threads of joy, kindness, and unwavering love, leaving behind an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
In the embrace of her beloved family, Shelia found her greatest joy. She was married for a remarkable 31 years to Earl Wayne Leach, sharing life’s adventures and nurturing their family with boundless affection. Together, they celebrated the accomplishments of their children, which remained her proudest achievements, as did her cherished grandchildren.
Shelia inexplicably brightened any room she entered with her bubbly personality, always striving to spread happiness and lend a helping hand to those in need. Her zest for life was infectious, and her spirit radiated warmth and kindness, qualities that endeared her to countless friends and family alike. Among her closest confidantes were Tina Harris and Peggy Coplan, who shared in the many laughs and heartfelt moments that characterized Shelia's vivacious existence.
A woman of simple yet profound joys, Shelia found solace in nature through her hobbies of fishing, gardening, and nurturing her beloved flowers. Decorating her yard was not just a pastime; it was an expression of her vibrant personality and her love for beauty in all forms.
She is survived by her devoted husband and their children: son, Jacob Ray Allred (Stephanie); daughter, Leslie Leach Swinney (Tanner); and stepsons, Jaime, Bobby, and Austin Leach. The legacy of her love extends further through her grandchildren: Elliott Ray Allred, Hudson Rhett Swinney, Olivia Jo Allred, along with her step-grandchildren, Kimberly, Alex, Cooper, Waverly, Landon, Logan, Wyatt, and Wesley Leach. Her siblings: Paul Allred, Terry Allred, Randall Allred, Kay Lewis, and Shona Allred carry her love and kindness through their memories.
Shelia joins in eternal rest her beloved father, Johnny Allred; her mother, Edith Mearl Carter; and siblings, Wanda Baldwyn and Johnny Gale Allred; and stepson, Cody Leach, all who await her in the embrace of everlasting peace.
Shelia's memory will be lovingly honored during a visitation on October 30, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at E. E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, MS. There, family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears, as they remember a woman who touched so many lives.
As we bid farewell to Shelia Renee Leach, let us carry forward her legacy of joy, love, and friendship. She was truly one of a kind, and though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit endures in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
