Penny Foreman, a cherished soul known for her fun-loving, laid-back, and mischievous spirit, passed away on April 24, 2026, in Aberdeen, Mississippi. Born in New Albany, Mississippi, on January 8, 1967, Penny’s life was marked by warmth, creativity, and a deep devotion to her family.
Throughout her life, Penny found joy in diamond painting, a hobby that allowed her to blend patience and creativity, and she delighted in listening to country music. Her passions extended to the sports arena as well, proudly supporting the Ole Miss Rebels and the Green Bay Packers. Additionally, her affection for her beloved chihuahua was well known among family and friends.
Penny’s proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She is survived by her daughters, Nicola Foreman (Kevin Hathcock), and Samantha Sisco (Jason). Her legacy continues through her nine grandchildren: Aiden Bryce Ford, Allie Foreman, Harley Foreman, Dallas Foreman, Sunnie McDonald, Bret McDonald, Chase McDonald, Cole Sisco, and Collin Sisco, as well as three great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. Penny also has a beloved aunt, Linda Bullard, an uncle, Glenn Williams s and an adopted son, Dale Hock.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Marilyn Lawson, and her husband, Kenny Cantrell. Their memories are treasured and carried forward by those who loved her.
Family, friends, and all who knew Penny are invited to honor her memory at the E. E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on May 1, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service on May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Bro. Robert Fowlkes. The burial will take place at Bethlehem Cemetery in Greenwood Springs, Mississippi, beginning at 12:15 p.m. on the same day.
Penny Foreman’s life was a testament to joy, kindness, and the importance of family bonds. Her spirit will endure in the hearts of those she touched, remembered fondly for her playful nature and unwavering love.
