Michael "Mike" Earl Stevens

Michael "Mike" Earl Stevens, a treasured soul whose love for his family and faith ran deep, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025, at his home in Fulton, Mississippi. He was born on June 12, 1964, at Gilmore Hospital in Amory, Mississippi, and from that day forward, he filled the lives of those around him with warmth, laughter, and compassion.

Mike dedicated his career to the environment by working as an Environmental Consultant for his father, a role that allowed him to honor his family's legacy while contributing positively to the world around him. His commitment to his profession mirrored the dedication he showed in all aspects of his life, particularly when it came to spending time with those he loved most.

Education shaped formative years, culminating at Smithville High School, where he laid the groundwork for a life filled with curiosity and a passion for learning. As an adult, he found great joy in nurturing both his personal interests and his spiritual life. An active member of King City Church in Tupelo, Mississippi, Mike was a man who loved Jesus deeply and shared that love generously with everyone fortunate enough to know him. He dedicated countless hours to reading his Bible and immersing himself in gospel music—elements of his life that provided both comfort and joy.

In addition to his faith, Mike was a lifelong fan of Alabama Football and enjoyed the thrill of NASCAR races, eagerly sharing these experiences with friends and family. As he cheered for his favorite teams, he created lasting memories that would be cherished by those who joined him.

Mike was the proud son of Bobby Joe and Patty Jo Stevens, who nurtured his loving spirit and instilled in him the values of generosity and kindness. He leaves behind his siblings, Ken (Brandi) Stevens, along with several nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry forward his legacy of love, faith, and dedication.

Family was undoubtedly Mike’s proudest accomplishment, and he understood the beauty of togetherness. His presence in their lives was a gift, one that will be sorely missed yet fondly remembered.

A visitation will take place on December 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory, Mississippi, followed by a Celebration of Life from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Burial will be at Smithville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Russell Minga, Aaron Griggs, Jim Murphree, Phillip Standefer, David Reese, and Eddie Leech.

As we gather to honor and remember Mike, we will celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched the hearts of many and inspired those around him to pursue love and faith with the same fervor he did. His spirit will remain a guiding light, echoing in the laughter of his family, in the sacred texts he loved, and in the wonderful memories he leaves behind.
