Linda Higginbotham Sullivan Cruber

Nettleton – On March 15, 2023, Linda Ann Higginbotham Sullivan Cruber, 83, met Jesus face to face and had a joyful reunion with love ones waiting for her in heaven.

Linda was born February 27, 1941, in Nettleton, Mississippi to James Eurone Higginbotham and Ertis Grace Vance Higginbotham Trotter. She graduated from Nettleton High School, Class of 1959, and received an associate degree from Itawamba Junior College. A hard worker who loved people. She was co-owner of Jack & Jill Daycare in Nettleton for 20 years and then worked as office manager at Classic Carpet & Restoration for 20 years.

She is described by those who know her well as a strong and courageous woman. In addition to her parents, and stepmother, Mildred Higginbotham, she endured the pain of burying two husbands, Cedric K (Dub) Sullivan and Dale Allen Cruber as well as two sons Mark Sullivan and Terry Sullivan, a daughter Cindy Sullivan, a brother Rick Higginbotham and two sisters, Jeannie Langston, and Janie Trotter. Despite these great losses she is also described as one of the sweetest, kindest, funniest people you will meet. She was a great storyteller and spent her last hours making people laugh with her jokes. Linda loved gardening and reading, and her home is filled with beautiful antiques and furniture she refinished. She was a former President of Nettleton Homemaker’s Club and liked to listen to music, especially Willie Nelson.
Linda loved the Lord and was a member of Victory Baptist Church and in her later years attended Pine Grove Methodist Church. The thing she was most proud of was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons Dale Allen “Poppy” Cruber (Shuna) Nettleton, and Randy Sullivan, Tupelo; Grandchildren Corey Sullivan Amory, Lesley Sullivan Wright (Austin) Amory, Brad Sullivan (Cassie) Amory, Samantha Sullivan Roebuck (Brett) Amory, Dakota Cruber (Elizabeth) Nettleton, Cameron Cruber (Jayla) Nettleton, Blake Evans (Lauren) Nettleton, Kaylyn Evans Nettleton; 10 great grandchildren; sister Deb Nash (Bert) Smithville; Daughter-in-law Pam Sullivan; Sister-in-law Lynn Higginbotham Amory; a special friend Doyle Ray; and a host of nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family service at First Baptist Church, Amory, Mississippi.

Memorials maybe made to St. Jude. Memories and condolences may be shared with her family at EEPickleFuneral-Home.com.
