Oxford/Amory – Lincoln Monaghan, 80, entered into his eternal home with Jesus on Monday, August 7, 2023, after a brief illness. Lincoln was born on February 12, 1943, in Plantersville, Mississippi to the late Tom and Bertha Starling
Monaghan.

Lincoln is survived by a sister, Mattie Wigington, New Albany; and a brother, Bill Monaghan, Amory; several nieces and nephews.

Lincoln was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Bertha Monaghan; sisters, Virginia, Annie, Carolyn, Ruby and Maddie; brothers, Frank, Carroll and Brownie.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at New Chapel Cemetery, Itawamba County, MS with Bro. Bill Monaghan officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rosie Joseph, Teresa Matthis, Brandy Rucker, and all the special workers at NMRC in Oxford, MS.
