Kathy Harrison Crisp
Amory – Kathy Harrison Crisp, 66, began her new life in Heaven on July 9, 2024. She was born on August 10, 1957, in Amory, MS to Thomas Harrison and Eloise Phillips Harrison.
Kathy grew up in Monroe County, she was intelligent and graduated early from Amory High School. She furthered her education at Itawamba Junior College with a nursing degree. Kathy worked her career in Nursing at both Gilmore Memorial Hospital and Amory Manor Nursing Facility. A woman with a big heart, for many years she helped take care of the elderly and loved them as though they were her own family.
She married the love of her life, Randy Crisp on January 22, 1981, and they were blessed with a total of eight children. She was a beautiful soul who loved her kids and grandkids so much and she would do anything for them.
Kathy grew up Baptist and she believed in the Lord. She really had a big calling in life from God to take care of others. Not only through her employment as a nurse but as a mother and grandmother she was always tending to others. In her downtime, she enjoyed spending time with her precious dogs, creating beautiful ceramics and listening to Elvis. True to her nature, if someone was having a bad day, she always knew how to take care of them and help them smile by reminding them “you are my sunshine”.
So many great memories made through the years with Kathy that he family will have something to hold on to. She will be missed dearly yet will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
