Amory – Mary Josephine “Jo” Rainey, 86, passed away at her residence in Amory, on Monday, March 18, 2024. Born on March 18, 1938, in Birmingham, AL, she was a daughter of the late Levis H. Yarbrough and Olga Johnson Yarbrough.
Her Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, March 21, 2024 in Amory Historical Society Cemetery with Dr. Tom Cheatham officiating.
Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:50 PM, Thursday.
Her family requests memorials to St. John's Episcopal Church, 402 W. Commerce St., Aberdeen 39730 or to First Presbyterian Church, 209 S 4th St., Amory 38821.
