Debra Lynn Harmon

Amory – Debra Lynn Harmon, 62, passed away on February 14, 2024 at Diversicare Nursing Facility, in Amory, MS. She was born in Milford, Delaware, on February 15, 1961 to Mary Ann Rust Terry and the late Leonard Terry, Jr.

Debra worked her first job at Amory Manor Nursing Home and then went to work at Walmart. She married her best friend, William Howard Harmon, on December 25, 1982. They made many wonderful memories together for over 35 years. She worked at Walmart in many departments and retired there after 25 years of service. Through the years at work, she served many members of the community. Her smile could light up any room. Her presence will definitely be missed around town.

She, like her husband, leaves a legacy of great memories for her family and friends to cherish forever.

Debra is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Rust Terry, Amory; brother, Donald Ray Terry (Sandra Arlene Criswell), Brookhaven, MS; brother-in-law, Edward Pearson, Hatley; a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Howard Harmon; sister, Rita Pearson; brother, Thomas Mitchell Terry; nephew, Donald Ray Terry II; niece, Mary Grace Terry; great-nephew, Dylan Scott Pickle; great-nieces, Serra Beth Pearson and Destiny Terry.

At this time, no public funeral services are scheduled.
