Danny "Curt" Pearce, Jr., a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, in Winfield, Alabama. Born on January 7, 1968, in Amory, Mississippi, Curt grew up surrounded by the warmth of family and friends, and he carried that spirit throughout his life.
Curt attended Smithville High School. He dedicated his career to the furniture manufacturing industry.
Beyond work, Curt found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved living by the waterway, a setting that reflected his easy-going nature. Curt had a profound love for 70's Rock and Roll music, especially The Rolling Stones. An animal lover at heart, he cherished his dogs, who often joined him in his adventures. Sports were also a great passion for Curt; he was an enthusiastic fan who delighted in the excitement they brought into his life.
Curt leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his mother, Linda Pearce; sister, Jill Moore; son, Zach Raper; grandmother, Eunice Pearce; half-brother, Jay Pearce; and nieces, Lindsey Jones (Luke) and Katelin Worthington (Reese), and many friends. Each of them holds cherished memories of his kindness, laughter, and unwavering support.
He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Curtis Pearce, Sr.; grandparents Mancil and Burma Brown, and George Pearce; brother-in-law Rodney Moore; aunt Eria Roberts; and an uncle Don Pearce. Their absence is felt deeply, yet Curt’s legacy will continue to resonate through the lives he touched.
As we remember Curt, we celebrate the love he shared and the impact he had on those around him. His spirit will live on in the stories told by loved ones and in the quiet moments by the waterway that he cherished so much.
